Leonore, Estelle and Co. attract attention

Five godparents for the little prince
On April 19, Alexander, the youngest grandson of King Carl XVI. Gustaf and Queen Silvia saw the light of day. Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel celebrated their first-born daughter’s birthday on Thursday in a small circle far away from the Swedish palace. At the beginning of the week, another royal birthday was celebrated in Sweden: Princess Leonore was three years old. Leonore is Estelle’s favorite cousin and daughter of Princess Madeleine, Victoria’s younger sister, and her husband, Chris O’Neill.
On March 2, the second child of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband, Prince Daniel, was born. Little Prince Oscar has now been baptized. The solemn ceremony took place in the Castle Church of Stockholm.

The baptism took over with Antje Jackelén, the Archbishop of the Swedish Church, a native German. Oscar wore the same little dress that his grandfather King Carl XVI, among others, was wearing. Gustaf, his mother and his sister had carried to their baptisms.
At the beginning the little prince cried a little, but then let himself be calmed down with a pacifier and slept through most of the ceremony. When the part with the holy water came, however, he was wide awake again, but remained calm – until the archbishop lifted him briefly in the air. But in mum’s arms the moment of shock was quickly forgotten and Oscar continued to sleep blissfully. Estelle has a small job

Then she did a few gymnastics on all fours, wandered around, even tipped over once while climbing on her little chair, and thus kept Mama Madeleine on her toes.
Also there was Leonore’s little brother Nicolas (almost 1 year old), the second child of Madeleine and Chris O’Neill. The little one spent the ceremony on Papa’s lap, contentedly chewing on his flashing bite stick.
Prince Alexander was missing
Only the one month old baby Prince Alexander – son of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia – was not present at the celebration with several hundred guests. His parents came to the castle church without him.
