Note that the employee has the right to refuse to carry out preventive vaccinations, referring to Article 20 of the Federal Law of November 21, 2011 No. 323-FZ “On the basics of protecting the health of citizens in the Russian Federation.” 

However, there are also risks of spreading the disease if the employee is not vaccinated. In the event that the employer considers that such a situation violates safety requirements, and also endangers the life of not only the employee, but also the students, then he can refuse to hire him or suspend him from performing work. These conditions are in article 76 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and article 5 of the Federal Law of September 17, 1998 No. 157-FZ “On the immunization of infectious diseases.” 

A similar logic can be applied to the situation with the spread of a new type of coronavirus infection. 

The USE-2020 in chemistry impressed the students and teachers with its complexity. How did it happen that the graduates were unarmed in the battle with the exam tasks?

Back in 2015, the exam consisted of 40 questions. To get 100 points, you just had to learn the school curriculum and solve the bank of tasks “to the holes”. The first bell rang in 2016, when a trick appeared in the penultimate problem. In 2017, the first part changed dramatically, and by 2020 we were steadily expecting a new feature in task 34 and watched webinars from FIPI in anticipation of a spoiler. But … it turned out to be not so simple.

In fact, the tasks did not become more difficult, they required more effort and time. 

Let’s compare the questions:

In the first case, you just need to choose the elements based on your knowledge, and in the second you should already apply them in practice, that is, make a mini-calculation.

Almost every assignment has undergone similar changes this year. This could not but affect the time that needs to be spent on solving each problem. The students had to spend not one minute, but three minutes on each question. As a result, the child began to stress because of the feeling that he was not in time, and this led to mistakes due to inattention. 

Colleagues after the exam said in one voice: “The children knew how to solve these tasks, but they did not have enough time.” 

After a fight, they don’t wave their fists, but the conclusions should be correct. Any experience, even a negative one, has positive aspects. After analyzing the mistakes, I formulated the basic principles of preparing for the exam in chemistry, which will help to successfully pass the subject next year.

1. Offer the student as many tasks as possible that motivate reasoning, give the opportunity to apply knowledge. For example, ask how you can “slow down” the hydrolysis of ferric chloride. The child will have to use a theory from several topics at the same time. This is good for the brain.

2. Conduct mock exams every month, with a strict time limit. The trainings will help the children not get confused on the exam and complete all tasks on time. And you will be able to notice those who are not doing well and give them advice on how to solve the test faster. 

3. Psychological trainings. Ideally, they should be carried out by a specialist, but if this is not possible, then try to morally support the child throughout the school year, and before the exam, tell us in detail how the USE goes. Very often children have questions, but they are afraid to ask them. Some guys are not even aware of the possibility of passing the exam on a reserve day in case of poor health on the exam. Explain to students that this is normal. If panic has taken over the mind, then nothing good will come of it.
