When looking for such securities, however, it is not the distributions made in the past that are decisive, but rather the profit sharing expected in the future.
When selecting stocks, fund managers pay attention to other criteria in addition to dividend payments, such as balance sheet figures. They also evaluate the company’s business model.
However, if investors want to spread risk, they shouldn’t just focus on one company. You can invest in a wide range of different stocks via dividend funds.
Rome (dpa) – After a week-long hang-up game, several EU states have come up with a solution for the migrants on two blocked rescue ships from German aid organizations.

Germany and seven other member states have agreed to take over the 49 migrants, said Malta’s Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.
The ships would have to leave the Maltese waters “immediately” after the transfer of the migrants and would not be allowed to enter the port of the capital Valletta. The rescuers still do not want to give up and continue with their missions.

Sea-Watch rescued 32 migrants on December 22nd, not far from the Libyan coast. The Regensburg organization Sea-Eye took 17 more on board shortly before the turn of the year. Since then, the migrants have been stuck on the ships “Sea-Watch 3” and “Professor Albrecht Penck”. They were brought to Malta in a military ship and were able to step on solid ground there for the first time in days.
Even if there is a solution for them: It is just a gap filler, as there is still no pan-European rule on how rescued boat refugees could be distributed among the EU states. “The past few weeks have not been a great moment for Europe,” said EU Interior Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos in Brussels. Letting 49 people stay at sea for almost three weeks is not what the EU stands for.
The UN refugee agency UNHCR welcomed the solution, but Refugee High Commissioner Filippo Grandi criticized the tussle over the people. “A rescue at sea does not end when someone is pulled out of the water, but only when they are on land and safe,” he said. “The imperative to save lives takes precedence over politics and is not a responsibility that is negotiated on a case-by-case basis.” He urged the Mediterranean countries to finally agree on the long-sought solution for a safe landing and care for refugees and migrants.
In return for the end of the blockade, Malta had demanded the distribution of more migrants whom the local coast guard had rescued at the end of December. Now around 220 of a total of 298 migrants would be distributed to other EU countries or sent back to their home countries, said Prime Minister Muscat.
Germany takes in 60 people, said a spokesman for the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Berlin. Attempts are currently being made to persuade other EU states to participate in the campaign. So far, according to Malta, France, Portugal, Ireland, Romania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Italy have agreed to admit Germany.https://123helpme.me/argumentative-essay-topics/
Since Italy’s port blockade, only a few rescue ships have been on the Mediterranean Sea, besides the German organizations, the Spanish NGO Proactiva Open Arms. The EU, and Italy in particular, support the Libyan coast guard, which is bringing migrants back to the civil war country.
The aid organizations are resisting this because they are not observing human rights in the country. The spokesman for Sea-Watch, Ruben Neugebauer, said that the blockades will not deter you from operations. “The last few weeks have impressively shown that our operations are still necessary. (…) We will continue to consistently enforce human rights on the Mediterranean in the future.” On Twitter, Sea-Watch spoke of “hostages” that the EU is now releasing.
Recently there had been dramatic reports of the conditions on board the two ships. According to Sea-Watch, some migrants had temporarily refused to eat. Drinking water supplies had been rationed on the “Professor Albrecht Penck”. People slept in the infirmary, shared a toilet. There were no mattresses or a change of clothes. Many migrants were seasick. A Sea-Watch video showed people getting the message that they were allowed to go to Europe: They burst into cheers, dance and jump around.
The hangover was foreseeable – and it could repeat itself when the next private rescue ship takes in migrants. Because Malta and Italy had already refused to moor private rescue ships in their ports several times. Since the arrival of the right-wing Italian interior minister and vice-premier, Matteo Salvini, several ships with rescued persons on board had been blocked for days at sea, for example the “Aquarius” and “Lifeline” last summer. But no ship had been left in the balance as long as the “Sea-Watch 3”.
Salvini continued to be the hardliner and denounced the EU for allowing itself to be “blackmailed” by the aid organizations. “In Brussels they pretend they don’t get it and make the business of smugglers and NGOs easier.”
Appeals came again from Brussels. In order not to have to react ad hoc in similar situations in the future, Commissioner Avramopoulos called on the EU states to finally find a sustainable solution. This could be a “bridge” until the international community agreed on a reform of the so-called Dublin rules. According to this, that EU country is responsible for an asylum seeker in which he entered EU territory for the first time. But the international community is divided on the issue of migration and has not been able to agree on a binding quota for the distribution of refugees across all countries for years.

Tennis trophies and memorabilia owned by Boris Becker will be foreclosed on Monday. The online auction will offer several replicas of trophies that the 51-year-old received for winning major tennis tournaments. Below is a copy of the Wimbledon Challenge Cup. The finalist medal that Becker received after his defeat in the Wimbledon final against Sweden’s Stefan Edberg in 1990 is also for sale.

A total of 82 objects are for sale, including tennis rackets, photos and watches of the former world number one. The auction of the auction house Wyles Hardy runs until July 11th.
Boris Becker was declared insolvent by a bankruptcy court in London in 2017 due to unpaid debts. A year ago, to everyone’s surprise, the three-time Wimbledon winner declared that he was enjoying diplomatic immunity: he had been appointed sports attaché of the Central African Republic’s representation to the EU in Brussels. This stopped the auction of his memorabilia for the time being.
Clear the way for foreclosure sale
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the African state spoke of a fake. In December, Boris Becker announced that he would no longer claim diplomatic status. This cleared the way for the foreclosure auction.

In private life, too, things did not go well for the tennis legend last year. In May 2018, Lilly and Boris Becker had declared their marriage to have failed. Since then, the couple has only seen each other at court appointments. Lilly and Boris Becker were in a relationship for 13 years, 9 of them married.
